Description - A beautiful Art Nouveau Ring, Circa 1905, crafted in 9ct yellow gold for the shank & 14ct yellow gold head.

The ring has a 2.3mm t 2.9mm wide shank & the head measures 28mm x 15mm at widest point

The head of the ring has a lovely organic design of overlapping leaves & is sent in the centre with an 8mm x 5mm oval cabochon cut dark blue verneuil type synthetic sapphire.

Flame Fusion discovered  1902 by August Verneuil who was the first to successfully discover the process of creating a synthetic sapphire initially only rubies were the only gem produced by this method.

The head of the ring is also set with a .18 carat Old Fashion brilliant cut G/H SI natural diamond, a .14 carat early modern brilliant cut G/H VS natural diamond and a .015 carat old fashion brilliant cut G/H SI natural diamond.

A wonderful example of Art Nouveau design , organic shapes often taken from nature, flowing shapes mimicking natural forms.

This beautiful Art Nouveau ring, has a wonderful presence on the hand, excellent finger coverage ,, incredibly bright & fiery diamonds & the colour of the verneuil style sapphire is absolutely gorgeous.

A fabulous antique treasure these pieces certainly don't appear on the the market often at all.
