Description - A very beautiful Antique Ladies Purse, crafted in solid 9ct yellow & rose gold, a superb treasure Circa 1900 - 1910.

The valuation was completed in September 2023, & gold prices have skyrocketed since then especially over the past 6 months.

The upper frame of the purse measures 7.8cm x 3.2cm, & the length from clasp to bottom is 6.8cm or 68mm.

The body of the purse is 9ct gold chain-mail mesh with an internal divider.

The clasp is set with two 4mm high dome turquoise, & the outer frame is set with fourteen 3mm round turquoise an sixteen .04 carat H/I SI rose cut diamonds.

Total diamond weight is - 0.64 carat.

The 9ct rose gold chain drop is approx 10cm  & the purse weighs a very nice 69.98 grams.

Antique pieces like this rarely come to the market, & as my gemologist notes in his valuation " the purse is in very good condition "
