Description - An outstanding Bracelet Circa 1905-1910 Featuring gorgeous Cabochon cut Carnelian & exquisite handworked solid 9ct gold floral panels, exhibiting gorgeous Art Nouveau Design details.
Crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold, there are five bezel set cabochon cut carnelian, alternating with four panels that have a cut away gold work, detailing flowers & foliage, with a smaller cabochon cut carnelian mounted in a raised dome setting at the centre of each square panel.
Each larger bezel set carnelian measures approx 15.50mm x 11.30mm x 5.12mm approx
The smaller raised dome cabochon cut carnelians measure 5.52mm approx
The bracelet is 17cm in length & 1.5cm wide approx. the clasp is push in style with a small overlock aperture with a substantial weight of 25.99 grams, certainly not a flimsy piece.
Two of the larger carnelian panels are stamped for .375 & a Crown & the back of the clasp has the remnants of a makers mark S & Co for Sydney & Co partners Judah, Albert and Lionel Ahronsberg Powell st and Summerhill Road Birmingham & the bracelets dates to Circa 1905- 1910.
An absolutely beautiful bracelet really well made & looks fabulous on the arm, a wonderful antique piece.
The bracelet in in fantastic condition, no chips, cracks to the carnelians.
