Description - An exquisite pair of Natural Emerald Drop earrings repurposed from 9ct light rose gold, antique double tongue buckles.

Handcrafted in light 9ct rose gold, the earrings have a shepherd hook style fitting which is stamped 9ct & Italy they are modern, the body of the earrings are antique double tongue buckles. 

The buckles are beautifully hand engraved, & have gorgeous scrolled wire work to the top & bottom.

Suspended from the earring pendant style are two rub-over bezels each set with a 7.3mm approx 1.35 carat each round cabochon cut pale green natural emeralds.

On the ear lobe, they gracefully move with you, they look ever so elegant, absolutely beautiful earrings.

They certainly exude old world charm & romance.

Its wonderful to see some antique pieces being repurposed like this, it gives them another lifetime to be enjoyed and treasured.

Too the verso of each earring there is an early Australian impressed stamp for 9ct gold.

The earrings have been well made, the early hand engraving & buckles have originally been crafted by a skilled goldsmith.
