Description - A classic 1970's/80's  Handmade Natural Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Style Dress Ring.

Handcrafted in solid 14ct yellow gold the outer shank is a very light yellow gold, the ring has a 3.3mm to 5.5mm wide flat shank and a white gold wire basket head with a double tier of diamonds.

The centre is set with a 7.2mm x 5.8mm x 3.8mm deep approx 1.40 carat oval deep blue natural sapphire.

Around the sapphire is claw set with eighteen .015 carat brilliant cut H/I VS natural diamonds.

The outer tier is claw set with twenty .02 carat brilliant cut H/I VS natural diamonds.

Good quality diamonds with great colour & clarity.

Total diamond weight - 0.67 carat

A very impressive ring on the hand, the sapphire is a rich deep velvety blue, the diamonds are extremely bright white & so sparkly . Classic 70's flat style band which is really comfortable on the finger.

A beautiful ring that has been well made & quite a substantial piece weighing a good 7.47 grams.
