Description - A gorgeous dress / cocktail style ring featuring a natural  Ametrine, a gorgeous gemstone, one of those flukes of nature where purple amethyst forms alongside citrine a rare and wonderful gem from the quartz family.

Crafted in 14ct yellow gold, the ring has a 1.7mm wide shank and a coronet with open sides, that has curved supports and four double claws.

There is one small chip at one corner right near the claws on the underside of the Ametrine gemstone, very hard to see with the naked eye, this doesn't effect the look or wearability of the ring.

The shoulders of the ring are in a leaf design.

Taking centre stage is a 10.7 carat octagonal step cut ametrine measuring 16.2mm x 12.0mm x 8.3mm deep.

There is a distinct boundary between the amethyst & citrine which transverses the gemstone at a right-angle to the longer axis.

Ametrines exhibit an eye catching colour combination with the formation of the amethyst & citrine.

This is a striking gemstone displaying an excellent colour combination, &  a wonderful size being 10.7 carat, which provides excellent finger coverage & looks impressive on the hand.
