Description -  A very pretty handcrafted vintage 9ct yellow gold, solid opal & natural ruby ring. Circa 1970's

Handcrafted in 9ct solid yellow gold, the ring has a 2.7mm to 3.5mm wide upswept shank and a cluster head with wire basket supports, forming a flower style design.

The head of the ring is 21mm x 18mm at widest point, & has a group of six four-clawed coronets.

The coronets are set with a total of six 7mm x 5mm approx .40 carat each average with oval cabochon cut solid opals.

The opals are incredible pretty displaying a light base with light to medium intensity blue, green and orange colours in  blocky to mossy patterns.

The head of the ring is also set with four 2mm round natural pink red rubies.

A gorgeous vintage handcrafted ring we believe dates to the 70's it has a lovely flat style shank, with a very nice size head which gives great finger coverage.

The opals are gorgeous colour & the small natural rubies finishes the ring off beautifully.
