Description - Gorgeous handmade Moonstone earrings Circa 1950's for pierced ears.

These beautiful earrings have been well made by a highly competent jeweller, handmade in solid 14ct yellow gold, the earrings have good quality disc style butterflies .

The earrings are set with a 8.0mm x 8.5mm & a 8.4mm x 8.6mm cabochon cut off round moonstones, that have a distinct bluish schillerescence.  Really lovely quality moonstones.

Total Moonstone weight - 5.05 carat.

The moonstones are set in six-claw coronets and have a beautifully detailed leaf & tendril that gracefully curves around the moonstone & ear lobe.

These are really beautiful earrings, extremely well made , they have a wonderful presence on the lobe & look fabulous.
